Luvrise just wrapped up an insightful week at CBE Shanghai 2026 – China’s largest and most influential beauty expo. With over 20,000 steps a day across the show floor, we came away with a much clearer picture of where China’s domestic beauty industry is heading.
Chinese brands are setting their sights on Europe. We connected with some of the most recognized local names – including Inoherb, TJOY, Proya, Voolga, Yoseido, SHE’S YEA, Yunnan Baiyao, Jiasee and Mageline – each with their own unique heritage, story and product philosophy. Many of these brands are now actively seeking European partners to co-invest in R&D, marketing and local consumer insights, while staying true to their Chinese essence (e.g. traditional herbs in Inoherb, birch juice water‑free formula in Yoseido).
K-Beauty shows what’s possible. Korean beauty occupied an entire hall at CBE – a testament to how efficacy, mildness and visible results win consumer trust. In Europe, K-Beauty and J-Beauty already thrive on “exotic plus efficacy”. The question for the next 5–10 years: will C-Beauty follow a similar path, just as Chinese automobiles are now gaining ground outside China?
Ingredients remain our core focus. CBE is not an ingredient‑heavy show – only around 50 exhibitors in Hall N6. Still, we found interesting innovations: Vegan PDRN, peptides and bio-fermented ingredients.
At Luvrise, we supply active ingredients for beauty and personal care. Whether you are a brand or a distributor looking for ingredient solutions – or interested in bridging Chinese brands with the European market – let’s keep the conversation going.
This is a long‑term open invitation. Reach out to us anytime through 2026.
